DESCRIPTION
The project aims to build black boxes to be installed on board public transport vehicles to monitor drivers' driving behaviour and provide feedback to the transport company. Data is collected on board the vehicles via IoT devices equipped with Edge AI, capable of monitoring driving style and recording critical events, which are then transmitted and certified on blockchain.

AI-Playing uses artificial intelligence to monitor driving style in public transport.

The safety and efficiency of public transport services increasingly depend on the ability to accurately monitor and analyse the behaviour of vehicles and drivers.

The AI-Playing project aims to develop an intelligent platform for analysing the driving style of public transport drivers, using IoT devices installed on board vehicles and equipped with Edge Artificial Intelligence algorithms capable of analysing driving parameters in real time and detecting anomalies or critical events.

Edge AI for smart mobility

Data collected by onboard devices is processed directly on the vehicle thanks to Edge Computing technologies, reducing response times and enabling immediate identification of potentially risky driving behaviour. The information is then transmitted to a central platform, where it is analysed to provide operational feedback to transport companies.
