DESCRIPTION
The project integrates blockchain technology to track, via physical PUF tags, vehicle black boxes. It will also lead to the certification of the lifecycle of electric vehicle batteries through blockchain.

LAMBdA improves data traceability and certification in mobility and logistics.

The growing digitalisation of production, logistics and mobility processes has made data certification and reliability an increasingly central issue. Information on product origin, the state of technological components, or service quality must be collected, shared and verified by multiple parties along the entire value chain.


The LAMBdA project was created to develop new data certification models by integrating blockchain technologies with non-clonable physical devices (PUF – Physical Unclonable Function), creating a secure link between the physical and digital worlds.

Data certification and cyber-physical security

LAMBdA introduces an innovative cyber-physical security paradigm, in which uniquely identifiable physical elements are integrated with blockchain-based digital infrastructures, leveraging blockchain's intrinsic properties such as immutability, traceability and cryptographic security. The solution makes it possible to certify critical information without intermediaries, improving trust in digital systems.

Blockchain and PUF technologies for system traceability

The project integrates Net Service Group's blockchain technology with non-clonable physical tags (PUF) developed by the Institute of Nanotechnology of the Italian National Research Council (CNR-Nanotec), which give physical objects a unique digital identity, enabling product and logistics component traceability, mobility service quality monitoring, and electric vehicle battery lifecycle tracking.

Blockchain for information certification

Recording data on blockchain infrastructures ensures the immutability of information and the ability to verify its origin and registration date.

Non-clonable physical tags (PUF)
The use of non-replicable physical tags makes it possible to uniquely link real objects and devices to digital information recorded on blockchain.
 
Sustainable mobility applications
Enables monitoring and certification of data related to public transport services and smart mobility systems.
 
Battery lifecycle management
Tracks usage and charging cycles of electric vehicle batteries, improving safety, maintenance and environmental sustainability.
