MAIN PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Development of a platform based on distributed technologies for securing digital assets, guaranteeing their immutability, protecting them from external attacks and enabling organisations to generate value from their datasets through a blockchain-based marketplace compliant with GDPR and Italian and European legislation.
 
DESCRIPTION
KryptoSafe is a project co-funded by the European Union under the POR Puglia 2014/2020, FESR-FSE programme. The project aims to build a multiplatform, multilingual solution for the encryption and secure storage of digital assets on distributed infrastructure, and a web marketplace for the purchase and sale of datasets via NFT on blockchain — accessible to any public or private organisation, not only large players.

KryptoSafe makes digital assets secure, immutable and ready to generate value through distributed infrastructure and blockchain.

The project develops a complete ecosystem for the protection and monetisation of digital assets, combining distributed file storage (IPFS), Smart Contracts for marketplace management, and NFT tokens for the certified sale and purchase of datasets on blockchain.

The platform integrates a native user wallet, without requiring external plugins, and operates in full compliance with GDPR through Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.

IPFS — InterPlanetary File System

Distributed infrastructure for the management and storage of encrypted files, ensuring immutability and resilience against external attacks.

Ensures integrity, traceability and verifiability of registered Claims (on Etherna and IBSI).
 
 

NFT — Non-Fungible Tokens
Certification and sale of datasets on blockchain, enabling any organisation to generate value from its data assets.

 

Security and GDPR
CryptoAgility: encryption key system designed to evolve with the advent of more powerful quantum computers. Privacy by Design: data retention policies accepted by each user at registration are stored directly in the database. Privacy by Default: email-to-wallet mapping is not performed at database level.

Framework for the design and development of usable, accessible web software with strong component reuse, supporting UI Designers and web developers through rapid prototyping and User Centred Design patterns.
