MASSIVE introduces decentralised digital identity solutions based on blockchain.
Managing digital identities and personal data is today one of the main challenges for public and private organisations. The increasingly widespread use of digital services requires systems capable of guaranteeing security, transparency and full user control over information.
The MASSIVE project aims to develop innovative solutions for managing digital identities through the adoption of the Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) paradigm, which allows users to directly manage their digital credentials and personal data, maintaining full control over the information shared with third parties.
Decentralised digital identity and data certification
The project involves developing an SSI digital wallet designed to manage and verify various types of digital credentials, such as certifications, attestations and delegations. Information is recorded and certified via blockchain infrastructures, which ensure data integrity, traceability and verifiability. Key use cases include managing university certifications, securely sharing professional credentials, and managing digital delegations.
