The 19th ASSTRA National Conference concluded on June 5, 2025, in Rome. ASSTRA is the association representing the main Italian companies operating in Local Public Transport (LPT). The two-day event brought together companies and institutions to discuss the major challenges of digital, energy, and social transition in mobility services.
Net Service Group took part in the conference with a speech by Chicco Porcu, the Group’s Marketing Director, during the session dedicated to the evolution of collective mobility models—touching on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and autonomous driving.
In his address, Porcu highlighted an often overlooked aspect of innovation in LPT: the digitalization of offices, documents, and cybersecurity systems. While less visible than electric fleets or smart ticketing, these elements are now essential to enable the full transformation of the sector.
“Regulations are pushing for change,” Porcu explained, “with the Digital Administration Code (CAD), AgID Guidelines, and the NIS2 Directive outlining an increasingly strict framework. But beyond the obligation lies an opportunity: investing in advanced document management and cybersecurity means improving efficiency, reducing costs, increasing transparency, and building a solid foundation for sustainable digital transition.”
Net Service Group's experience in digital transformation projects for local public services—combined with a deep understanding of public administration processes and regulatory requirements—enables it to guide LPT companies along an effective, scalable, and sustainable innovation path.
Through its participation in the ASSTRA Conference, Net Service Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting Public Service Operators by providing compliant information systems and technology platforms designed to turn digital transformation into a concrete and impactful opportunity.
