Quick Shield: Mid-Project Results Presentation

Net Service invites stakeholders, ICT and cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and representatives from public administrations and private companies to join the online presentation of the mid-project results of Quick Shield – Quantum Infrastructure Chain for Knowledge Protection.

Quick Shield is Net Service’s PIA project, funded by the Apulia Region under the FESR-FSE+ 2021–2027 Programme, and aims to develop an advanced cybersecurity platform for the protection of data belonging to public administrations and enterprises. The project focuses on the adoption of innovative technologies such as post-quantum encryption, high-reliability distributed storage, blockchain for event notarization, and AI/NLP tools designed according to privacy-by-design principles.

Quick Shield represents the natural evolution of the previous regional project, KryptoSafe, by expanding its capabilities with mutual support mechanisms between organizations, distributed WORM solutions, advanced AI models, and Federated Learning. The ultimate goal is to build a secure, resilient infrastructure compliant with the NIS2 Directive, capable of mitigating complex threats such as ransomware, advanced cyberattacks, and, in the near future, risks related to quantum computing.

During the session, we will share the project’s current status, key achievements from the first development phase, and the platform’s potential applications—offering a concrete view of how Quick Shield can help strengthen the digital security of both public and private ecosystems.
