Net Service acquires FlossLab

FlossLab becomes part of the Bologna-based company, reaching an important milestone for Net Service

 

 


FlossLab is an IT group operating as a spin-off from the University of Cagliari. Among its various assets, the company boasts a laboratory of excellence dedicated to Blockchain. 

As explained by Gianluca Ortolani, CEO of Net Service SpA., thanks to the acquisition of the Sardinian company, Net Service "becomes the reference point concerning the design and development of application solutions in the cyber security field and, more specifically, a technological centre specialised in Blockchain solutions. The transaction is part of the Group's Strategic Plan which will include, among other things, further acquisitions with a view to grow for greater integration."

 

Being a majority shareholder of FlossLab allows Net Service to upgrade and complete. its Research and Development Center


The Research and Development Center, already the cornerstone of Net Service's, corporate strategy, thus becomes of primary importance in an increasingly strategic international outreach for the Bologna-based company.
The acquisition of the Cagliari university spin-off ended on 20 June 2018. The advisor of the operation was Studio BOCG Associati.
